The Programme
The Accelerator is a three-month creative business incubator designed to identify, invest in, and scale high-potential digital creators at a pivotal moment in their growth.
The programme will support exceptional digital creators across entertainment, sport, politics, science & tech and finance. Designed as a high-impact, two-month creative business incubator, it provides investment, training and mentorship and access to Goalhanger’s senior editorial, creative and commercial leadership - alongside established on-air talent.

Who Should Apply?
- Digital creators with a clear editorial angle across entertainment, lifestyle, sport, politics, science, tech and finance.
- Active on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts and/or Facebook averaging 100k + views a month.
- Strong, engaged and growing audiences.
- Based in the UK and eligible to work.
- Ready to scale creatively and commercially.

The Accelerator is supported by a cross-industry panel of media and entertainment leaders, alongside the producers behind Goalhanger’s biggest shows.
Meet some of the judges supporting this year’s programme.
Alex Bewley
Alex is an agent in WME’s digital department, representing leading production companies and talent across podcasting and digital media. He established WME’s UK digital division and leads the agency’s podcast business in the UK. His roster includes Alice Levine, Rio Ferdinand, Persephonica and Goalhanger.
Alex Adey
Senior Partnerships Manager at Spotify, leading The Ringer’s UK sports podcast slate. Alex oversees talent partnerships, strategic growth and commercial development across Spotify’s sports portfolio.
Alex Mahon
Chief Executive of Superstruct Entertainment, one of the world’s leading live and festival groups. Former CEO of Channel 4, where she led its transformation into a digital-first broadcaster. Her career spans media, technology and global creative industries.
Conor Galvin
Media Event Lead for Web Summit Vancouver and Global Podcast Lead across Lisbon, Vancouver, Doha and Rio. Conor works with major podcast networks and media organisations to produce live and recorded content for global audiences.
Aurelia Butler-Ball
Aurelia began her career at Universal Music before founding her own practice advising global brands, creative agencies, content creators and podcast producers. She specialises in media, rights and entertainment law.
Damaris Rex-Taylor
Senior leader within Sony Music UK, with experience across talent, partnerships and commercial growth in the music and entertainment sector.
Dom Johnson
Head of History and Executive Producer of The Rest Is History. Dom co-created The Rest Is Politics and its US and Leading editions, and oversees the development of new shows across the network.
Nicole Logan
Nicole leads show development across sport, politics, history and entertainment. She identifies new talent and takes shows from concept to launch, most recently The Rest Is Science and The Rest Is Classified.
Aaliyah Akude
Producer on The Rest Is History, Apple Podcasts’ 2025 Show of the Year. Aaliyah works at the forefront of creator-led audio, shaping rigorous, accessible storytelling for a global audience.
Becki Hills
Producer on The Rest Is Classified and The Rest Is Science, with previous development work on Empire. Becki specialises in shaping complex ideas into compelling, audience-led formats.
