Rachel Daly is an English professional football player who has been a striker for Aston Villa since 2022 and Captain this season. Prior to this, she built a long career in the US with Houston Dash, where she was captain and the club’s leading goal scorer in history.

Her international career is defined by adaptability at the highest level. Her continual success earned her a place in England’s tournament-winning UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 squad, where she played as a defender - and in 2023 she was selected to play as a forward for the England squad at the 2023 Women’s World Cup.

Rachel scored the most WSL goals in history (22) in a season (2022/23 - English player) and was Player of the Year, combining elite output with tactical intelligence across multiple roles.
